W pewnej małej, zapomnianej wiosce, w skromnym domku nad brzegiem morza przychodzi na świat dziewczynka z dwoma skrzydełkami na plecach. Jej matka leży obok nieżywa. Nikt nie wie, czy dziecko jest aniołem, czy diabłem. Plotka rozchodzi się po całej wiosce, przyjeżdża sołtys, by zbadać sytuację. Dom jest otoczony ciekawskimi i, jak to się zwykle zdarza, pojawia się tajemniczy mężczyzna, który mówi do sołtysa: Wezmę w opiekę tę istotę i będę trzymał ją w ukryciu, dopóki nie skończy 16 lat. Jeśli jest aniołem, pozwolimy jej w spokoju dorosnąć aż do chwili, kiedy zdecyduje, że może zbawić świat. Jeśli jest diabłem, który chce zgładzić ludzkość, zniszczę ją swoimi metodami. Obiecuję, że nikt nie będzie wiedział o naszej umowie. Jeśli w ciągu 16 lat nie zajdą w niej żadne zmiany, oddam ją w ręce władz. I tak pakt został zawarty.
In Garbagevillage, in a humble house next to wharf, a girl borns with two little wings in her back… her mother lies dead beside her, no one knows if she is an angel or demon. The rumor start to spread all over the village…the leaders arrives and gets into the house… the place is surrounded by curious people…and as always happens, a man appears. Mr. Sir Gentleman, they call him…and he says to the leaders: Me, Mr. Sir Gentleman, will take care of this creature hiding her until the age of 16. If she is the angel we expect we will let her grow up with me and when she decides, she can go out and save the humanity. If she is the demon that will finish with the human race, I will destroy her with my methods. I promise you that no one will know about this deal. If after 16 years any change comes, the authorities will be able ask for the girl and take care of her. So a solemn contract was signed.
